Job summary

Parker University in Dallas, TX seeks a full-time Faculty member in Systems Pathology/Pharmacology/Toxicology to join the expanding College of Chiropractic. You will design and deliver courses, align assessments with objectives, and support laboratory instruction within the Basic Sciences.

The role requires PhD preferred (or comparable doctorates) and at least 18 graduate hours in the relevant areas, with strong teaching and scholarly activity expected. Regular on-site instruction M-F, 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Evidence of ability as an effective teacher, including active learning approaches.
• Interest in research, scholarly and/or creative activity.
• Evidence of ability to provide service to the institution and the community.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and manage courses in accordance with supervision.
• Prepare and adhere to a syllabus in Parker’s required format; communicate course requirements clearly.
• Hold classes and laboratories; monitor attendance and submit records on time.
• Develop and apply robust methods to evaluate learning outcomes and grades.
• Contribute to curricular maintenance and programmatic quality; participate in school activities.
