NWACC in Arkansas seeks a full-time faculty member to teach networking and cybersecurity, develop course curricula, assess outcomes, and mentor students pursuing the Networking/Cybersecurity degree. Some duties may be administrative or service oriented, with teaching at Benton and Washington County facilities.

An activity or assignment is not considered service to the college if the faculty member receives a stipend, release time, or other additional payment or benefit for their participation. Faculty teaching in some academic areas may have other duties assigned based on the requirements for courses, degrees, certificates, and accrediting bodies.

The work environment typically consists of a professional office setting with a moderate noise level, including sounds from conversations, office equipment, and occasional movement of staff. Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Programming, or MBA with 18 graduate hours in Networking, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
If potential candidate has an out-of-field degree, the candidate must be credentialed with documentation in two or more of the following areas as outlined by ACBSP:
Ability to communicate networking and programming principles and practice.
College level teaching experience.
