The appointment includes teaching in lab, clinical and classroom settings across undergraduate nursing programs.

Responsibilities include coordinating pediatric clinical placements, supervising adjunct faculty, providing weekly feedback, and maintaining course outcomes and grades.

Qualifications

• MSN degree required.
• 3–5 years of pediatric nursing experience.
• CT RN license or eligibility.
• Teaching RN students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and evaluate the didactic pediatric content of NUR 210 for full semester for two groups.
• Facilitate pediatric clinical experiences in hospital/clinical settings.
• Oversee pediatric clinical adjunct faculty.
• Coordinate clinical placements for pediatrics.
• Provide weekly feedback on clinical performance and paperwork.
• Compile course grades, evaluations and outcomes data.
• Monitor attendance, assignments, and academic integrity; provide feedback per policies.
• Maintain active office hours for student support; assist with tests and assignments.
• Complete midterm and final evaluations; participate in program activities.
• Work with pediatric clinical placement each semester; participate in committees and retention efforts.

Individual will teach other didactic and asynchronous content courses as needed per semester for any undergraduate nursing program at Goodwin University. We are seeking applicants whose teaching responsibilities will include laboratory, clinical and classroom, teaching. This is a three-semester appointment with time off at the end of each semester.Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities :(The essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.
