Job summary

Goodwin University in East Hartford, CT is looking for an Assistant Professor in the Family Nurse Practitioner track starting August 2026. This is a full-time position responsible for teaching and supporting curriculum and program development.

The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in nursing, board certification, state licensure, and experience in both clinical practice and collegiate teaching. Competitive employee benefits include medical, dental, and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in nursing, board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Active RN and APRN Licensure in Connecticut.
• Minimum of two years experience as FNP and one year in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Instruct up to fifteen credits per semester across three semesters.
• Lead on-campus immersion weekends for FNP students.
• Assist students with securing clinical placements.
