Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician at our Iron Mountain, MI location. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of stores and equipment, under supervision of the General Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities include using multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling), handling work orders, and responding to emergencies, while adhering to safety guidelines and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Ability to work in various temperatures and heights.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills and tools.
• Process repair work orders and document activities in the system.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety and operating training.
