Job summary

Armada Staffing Group is seeking a dependable Fabrication Machine Operator on the East Side of Columbus, OH. You will operate fabrication machinery, measure, cut, and assemble parts, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Benefits include weekly pay, full-time hours, and a temp-to-hire path. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to pass background checks and a drug screen. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous fabrication, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred
• Ability to operate machinery and use basic hand/power tools
• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions
• Basic math skills
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. Stand and perform physical duties for extended periods.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must pass a national background check
• Must pass a 10-panel drug test; THC-friendly
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication machinery and equipment
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to work orders
• Assemble parts using hand and power tools
• Remove burrs and sharp edges from finished materials
• Wrap, band, box, and palletize finished products
• Move materials using forklifts or pallet jacks
• Use RF scanners to pick and put away products
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and instructions
• Work with team members to meet daily production goals
