Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in New York is hiring a full-time Catering Attendant to deliver and serve at scheduled functions, under the supervision of the catering captain. You may drive a catering delivery truck and will set up, serve, and break down events, ensuring the area remains neat and safe.

Open availability is required. The role requires prior experience in food handling, catering setup and breakdown, plus knowledge of BEO and Catertrax.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food handling, catering setup, and breakdown.
• BEO knowledge and Catertrax familiarity.
• Possible valid food handler's permit/alcohol servers' permit per state law.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables, decorations, and buffet setups according to standards.
• Serves food and beverages to guests and cleans the location after events.
• Returns equipment and leftovers to the catering facility in a timely manner.
