Qualifications

• Requires ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
• Able to interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions.
• Effective communication by phone and verbally; read MSDS and chemical usage instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks: dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, polishing.
• Empty hampers, collect and transport soiled linens; handle trash and medical waste disposal.
• Restock and replenish supplies (toilet tissue, towels, soap) in assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and log usage; report repairs as needed.
• Conduct special projects like window washing or deep clean of heavily soiled areas.
• Respond to questions from patients, staff and visitors; aim for high customer service satisfaction.
• Work within assigned facility/area with routine supervision.
