Job summary

San Antonio Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to work under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. You will assist with timely and accurate medication passes to maintain high-quality resident care.

This role requires clear English communication and current CMA certification. The position involves following charting guidelines, reporting changes in patient condition, and participating in trainings and meetings.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.
