Job summary

Eventide Lincoln in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team on a full-time, on-site basis. The role includes weekend and holiday rotation and contributes to maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

You will clean assigned areas, handle waste, maintain equipment, and use sanitizing tools in areas with potential COVID exposure, while communicating with team members to ensure efficient service.

Qualifications

• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds safely.
• At least 18 years old.
• 6 months custodial/housekeeping experience required.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas of Eventide’s campus.
• Removes trash and cleans trash and infectious waste receptacles.
• Maintains cleaning equipment to assure good working condition.
• Cleans carpet and/or recliner until clean is complete and notifies supervisor.
• Utilizes the ESS sprayer in areas of possible/positive COVID exposure.
• Communicates with Seniors/clients and TEAMembers regarding cleaning.
