Haven of Champaign is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team in Champaign, Illinois. This full-time role cleans and sanitizes resident areas, supporting a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, laundry duties, and adhering to infection control guidelines in a healthcare setting. Weekend availability and attention to detail are important in this fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus).
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
• Follow infection control and sanitation guidelines in a healthcare setting
• Maintain cleanliness of facility equipment and housekeeping carts
• Replenish supplies such as linens, towels, and toiletries
• Handle laundry duties as assigned (washing, drying, folding, distributing)
• Ensure a safe and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors
• Respond to housekeeping requests promptly and professionally
