Job summary

Environmental Career Center is seeking a Full-time Environmental Project Manager to oversee a wide range of investigation and remediation projects in New Jersey. The role requires a BS in a related field and 5+ years of environmental field and office experience, with strong field oversight, decision-making, and technical report writing.

Proficiency in Word/Excel is required; OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certification and confined space entry are a plus; GIS mapping knowledge and NJDEP regulations

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related field (e.g., geology, civil or environmental engineering, environmental science, or the like).
• 5+ years of relevant environmental field and office experience.
• Excellent field oversight and decision-making skills for multi-media contracting and sampling activities (drilling, excavation, injection, etc.).
• Strong written communication and technical report writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; OSHA HAZWOPER 40 Hour certification; confined space entry; GIS mapping a plus.
• Lead and asbestos certifications a plus; working knowledge of NJDEP Technical Regulations.

Full-time Environmental Project Manager position available; successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide variety of environmental investigation and remediation projects.

Requirements:

BS degree in a related discipline (e.g., geology, civil or environmental engineering, environmental science, or the like) and five (5)+ years relevant environmental field and office experience required. Must possess excellent field oversight and decision-making skills relating to various multi-media contracting and sampling activities (drilling, excavation, injection, etc.). Also need associated written communication and technical report writing skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Current certifications for 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER, confined space entry and/or experience with GIS mapping a plus. Lead and asbestos certifications also a plus. Working knowledge of the NJDEP Technical Regulations required.
