Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests in Arlington, Texas. You will provide high-quality patient care, document care details, and maintain a safe and stocked environment for patients while coordinating with local medical and public safety teams.

Minimum qualifications include a GED, state EMT license, driver’s license, BLS/NREMT, and the ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
State EMT license.
State driver’s license.
BLS and NREMT certifications.
Driving record compliant with company policy.
Must pass Physical Agility Test.
Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

EMTs provide assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Utilize EMT skills to provide care including communications, equipment, cleaning procedures, and office tools.
Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
