Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, State EMT License, State Driver’s License, BLS, and NREMT certification, plus a compliant driving record and ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.

Qualifications

• State EMT License is required.

• BLS and NREMT certifications are required.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Pass a Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine necessary care and deliver emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in compliance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
