Job summary
Life EMS Ambulance in Michigan seeks a Transport EMT responsible for safely transporting patients and providing basic life support according to applicable laws and regulations. This is a full-time role with a 42-hour work week and a pay range of $20.75/hr to $24.75/hr, with pay depending on experience.
The essential duties include maintaining a fully stocked unit, documenting runs, assisting in patient care, and completing reports and invoices.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must possess current EMT license issued by the State of Michigan and BLS.
- Trauma or pediatric card may be required based on location.
- Pre-employment requirements must be met as outlined in offer.
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily customer happiness.
- Participates in patient care to licensure level.
- Keeps medic unit and station stocked and clean at shift start and end.
- Prepares medical reports and invoices for runs.
- Attends required training to maintain certification.
- Cleans vehicle and care compartments; maintains neat stations.
- Reports vehicle/equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
- Assists with routine vehicle checks with crew.
- Other duties as assigned.
