Job summary

MMT Ambulance is seeking a full-time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Valdosta, GA. Join a team providing interfacility ambulance transport with competitive pay, flexible schedules, and comprehensive benefits.

As an EMT, you will perform Basic Life Support, operate EMS vehicles per regulations, and deliver patient-centered care across transport and clinical settings. A state EMT certification and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Current EMT certification (state-specific requirements apply)
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required

Responsibilities

• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) within EMT scope of practice
• Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles per regulations
• Deliver competent, compassionate patient care in various transport settings
• Apply EMS protocols and procedures effectively
• Communicate professionally with patients, families and healthcare personnel
• Document patient care in electronic charting system
• Assist EMS providers and provide thorough handoff reports
• Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness; restock supplies
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and commitment to patient care and safety
