Job summary

Excelsior Ambulance Service Inc in Dublin, GA is seeking a dedicated EMT to join the Operations team on a full-time basis. The EMT will provide emergency medical care under the direction of the Division Manager, responding to calls and delivering quality patient care in accordance with laws and company policy.

The role requires the ability to assess scenes, operate essential equipment, and communicate clearly with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

Must be at least 20 years old.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
State EMT/EMT-I/AEMT license.
State driver’s license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and NREMT certification (SC & AL).
Clean driving record per company policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test.

Responsibilities

Assess each call to determine best action with EMT protocols.
Use EMT skills on medical equipment (defibrillator, monitors, oxygen, suction).
Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance of care.
Act as EMS team member and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on emergency responses.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
