Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B)

Bay Shore, NY

Starting pay is $18.99 per hour and varies based on experience

Referral Bonus: Employees will receive $5,000 for referring a full-time Paramedic or $2,500 for a part-time Paramedic (terms and conditions apply*)

We are hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests, providing high-quality care, treatment, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
2. Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient rights.
3. Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
4. Use appropriate skills to provide care, including communication, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
5. Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency response vehicles.
6. Collaborate professionally with all health and safety personnel and fellow EMTs.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. High School Diploma or GED.
3. Valid State Driver’s License.
4. State EMT certification.
5. CPR/BLS certification.
6. Driving record compliant with company policy.
7. Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).
8. Some healthcare work experience is preferred.
