Job summary

Skills of Central PA is seeking a Full Time Employment Training Professional (ETP) to provide work based learning experiences and shadowing supports, enabling individuals to develop and achieve job readiness skills for community employment. The role covers one-to-one and group services with a person-centered approach.

The schedule is Monday - Friday, daylight with some evenings and occasional Saturdays. Training is provided, and the organization offers competitive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Human Services or Business and 1 year related experience
• Associate’s degree plus 2 years related experience
• High School diploma or GED plus 4 years related experience or parent of a program participant

Responsibilities

• Meets with referrals and their team to provide program and employment information and options.
• Coordinates and participates in the development of plans for employment.
• Implements plans for employment and provides services to achieve community-based job.
• Provides training and one-on-one support to program participants after employment is achieved.
• Follows up with program participants and employers as appropriate.
• Completes required paperwork and reports for internal and external audiences.
• Identifies transportation needs to and from job site as needed.
• Markets Skills Employment Services to funding sources and area business and industry.
• Attends a minimum of 24 hours of related training per year.

Education

Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or Business

Associate’s Degree or 60 College Credits

High School Diploma or GED
