Job summary

Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is seeking a full-time College Prep Center/English Language Learning (ELL) Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction to adult learners at NTC’s West Region campuses. The role emphasizes evidence-based teaching, data-guided instruction, and collaboration with colleagues to achieve program goals.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree (ELL/ESL credentials preferred) and two years of teaching experience; proficiency with Canvas/Zoom and Burlington

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; ELL/ESL credentials preferred.
• At least 2 years of college or adult education teaching experience.
• Strong classroom technology and LMS skills.
• Demonstrated cross-cultural communication and collaboration.
• Experience teaching English Language Learning to adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English language lessons to adult learners.
• Develop and update course materials aligned with program objectives.
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance and grade records.
• Support student development through labs and counseling.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to align language learning across the curriculum.
