The South Middleton School District is looking to fill Elementary Teacher positions at both its W.G. Rice and Iron Forge Elementary Schools.

Applicants are expected to have a firm grasp of elementary education, an understanding of PA Common Core Standards, strong skills in using technology in order to enhance learning, and the ability to utilize data to drive instruction. Most importantly, applicants must have the skills to provide a safe and nurturing classroom environment. In addition, finalists will have to demonstrate the skills necessary to work on a dynamic, collaborative teaching team and with a highly skilled elementary school faculty.

This position will be an eight (8) hour/day shift, 189 days/year, with a 30-minute duty free lunch. The required certification for these positions is Elementary 4-8 and/or K-6. Candidates willing and able to obtain an add on certificate to teach 5th grade may be considered.
