Job summary

The Winchester Public Schools Hinsdale School - Winsted, Connecticut is seeking a Permanent Building Substitute to support pre-kindergarten through 2nd grade classrooms. You will deliver lessons left by the classroom teacher, assist the Principal, and mentor students daily.

Qualified candidates may be certified teachers or graduates with a BA/BS or high school diploma. A valid driver's license and background checks are required; this is a full-time position with a daily rate of $140.00.

Qualifications

• Certified teachers preferred; Graduates with a BA, BS, or High School Diploma.
• Must pass federal and local background checks.
• Reliable transportation and eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Instruct general education classrooms by lesson plans left by the teacher.
• Assist the Principal, and coach students as assigned.
• Deliver instruction for seven hours daily with one prep period and lunch.
