Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Keene, NH, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support one elementary school for the academic year from late August to mid-June. The role offers a contract spanning the school calendar and provides in-depth support for 35-37.5 hours per week in a collaborative, student-centered environment.

The ideal candidate holds NH licensure in OT, a OT degree, and experience or strong interest in school-based settings, with strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Current New Hampshire licensure in Occupational Therapy.
• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Experience in school-based OT or a strong desire to work with children in educational settings.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and students.

Responsibilities

• Assess students to evaluate functional physical development and support their self-regulation.
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans optimizing students ability to participate in school routines.
• Consult with school staff to identify and remove environmental barriers for student access and learning.
• Document progress, adapt interventions, and contribute to placement decisions aligned with student needs.
• Attend meetings and provide training or recommendations to colleagues and families as needed.
