Job summary

Pineview Cottage, Northern Michigan's premier assisted living community, is looking for a full-time compassionate caregiver to join our growing team on the 3rd shift at Harbor Springs, MI. The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.

We offer starting pay of $24 per hour. Responsibilities include personal hygiene assistance, medication support, mobility help, meal prep, and light housekeeping, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Caregiver with compassionate, supportive approach and willingness to learn.
• Ability to assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients, including showering and dressing.
• Help clients take prescribed medications and assist with ambulation.
• Help with mobility to appointments and walks.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them to do so.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report unusual incidents and respond to emergencies.
• Support daily living activities including meals.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or CNA Program
