Utah Community Action in Wendover is hiring for a Classroom Aide or Assistant Teacher. This is a year-round, full-time role with a 40-hour week, typically 7:45 am to 4:15 pm.

Start wages range from $18.17 to $20.19 per hour depending on position and qualifications. You will support early learning for children 0–5, engage in daily activities, and collaborate with experienced educators in a warm, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Willingness to enroll in CDA program.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate in English.
• Preschool CDA preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Bilingual in languages spoken by families served is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom.
• Support daily learning activities and child development.
• Collaborate with experienced educators.
• Rotate through classrooms to gain diverse teaching experiences.
