Job summary

Lifesteps is immediately hiring for Child Care Assistants at the Butler Early Education center in Butler, PA. Positions available as Full-Time or Part-Time with daytime hours, Monday through Friday, no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and two years of experience working with children.
• Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to provide acceptable state clearances.
• Able to multi-task and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Care and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.
• Assist with lesson planning and create fun activities.
• Teach children colors, letters, and basic concepts such as sharing.
• Nurture infants and play with toddlers.
• Inform parents about the child's day.
