Job summary

Mozaic Senior Life is seeking a Child Care Teacher to join the teaching team. You will care for an assigned group of children, plan and implement the curriculum, supervise children, and communicate with parents to provide a healthy and safe learning environment.

This full-time role (37.5 hours per week, M-F) is based in Bridgeport, CT. You will ensure licensing compliance, maintain daily records and schedules, and collaborate with staff, volunteers and the Director to deliver a high-quality

Qualifications

• Must have a warm, friendly personality and relate well to children.
• Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification required.
• 1-2 years in early childhood field; valid work permit (I-9).
• Read and communicate effectively; flexible and able to work with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Care for children and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment.
• Design and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum.
• Communicate with parents and maintain weekly progress notes.
