Job summary

HonorHealth seeks a Teacher at Lincoln Learning Center in Phoenix to assist and sometimes lead in caring for children, planning activities, and ensuring safety and well-being throughout the day.

You will work with a team to implement guidelines from ADHS, CACFP, and NAEYC, communicate with families, maintain orderly environments, and support classroom routines, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience in a licensed facility.
• Completion of at least 12 hours of early childhood education from an accredited college.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Food Handlers Card required.
• Driver's license required for positions involving HonorHealth vehicle use.

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching staff and support care, supervision, health and safety of children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities aligned with ADHS, CACFP, and NAEYC guidelines.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized classrooms and playground areas.
• Communicate with parents and coworkers professionally.
• Coordinate staffing and schedules as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
