University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO is seeking a full-time Doula (Open Rank) to support the College of Nursing Doula Program across clinical and community-based settings. The role involves building a new practice to support birthing patients at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital and growing services for families.

As a Level III equivalent position, the doula will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide non-medical support, prenatal and postpartum education,

• Provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
• Assist with breastfeeding initiation and newborn care.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA and document interactions in EPIC.
• Support culturally responsive and trauma-informed care within the birth team.
