Job summary

Goodwill of Western New York is hiring a Retail Backroom (Production) Associate for the Hamburg store. This on-site full-time role focuses on processing donated goods, pricing items, meeting daily production goals, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

You will lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, participate in orientation in Buffalo for full-time hires, and contribute to turning donations into opportunities in a values-driven environment. Competitive hourly pay $16.00-$17.00.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. frequently
• Willing to attend a full-day orientation in Buffalo (for full-time hires)

Responsibilities

• Sort donations into sellable, salvage, or trash categories
• Prices items using our guide and identifies high-value goods
• Meets daily production goals and quality standards
• Transports donations to sales floor then stocks, rotates, and displays items
• Keeps work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Transports items to the compactor/dumpster as needed
• Assists at the donation door and moves donations as needed
