Job summary

Bridgeside Restaurant in Cascade Locks, OR is seeking a full-time dish and general utility helper to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of china, glassware, tableware and utensils, using machine and manual methods. The role also keeps the dishwashing area clean, safe, and sanitary, and may assist with other kitchen cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities include sorting and rinsing, stacking and delivering clean dishes, changing dishwater regularly, and supporting the kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
• Background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and tableware and place them in racks for the dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes and carry them to cook’s line and storage areas; rewash soiled items as needed.
• Change dishwater in the dish machine regularly.
