Job summary

Claremont Manor Retirement Community is seeking a full-time dishwasher to support our dining services. Under supervision, you will wash and sanitize tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, keeping the dish room clean and organized to ensure smooth kitchen operation.

This position requires weekend availability (8:30am-5pm or 12:30pm-9pm) and offers pay between $20.25 and $21.00 per hour. A Food Handlers certification is preferred, and high school or equivalent education is acceptable.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Food Handlers certification is required.
• 0 Year 1 month related experience or training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Dishwasher washes and cleans tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment.
• Provides quality customer service to residents, families, co-workers and vendors to ensure satisfaction.
• Load, run and unload the dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
