Job summary

Fredericka Manor Retirement Community is hiring a part-time Dishwasher. Hours include Tue–Thu 3:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m. and Fri 3:30 p.m.–10 p.m., with the option to work either Saturday or Sunday depending on need.

Pay range is $19.00–$21.00 per hour. Under supervision, you will wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment, keeping the dish-room organized. Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, maintaining cleanliness, reporting issues, and ensuring sanitary washing

Qualifications

• Food Handlers’ certification from local health department.
• Some High School Education
• 1+ year previous Dishwasher or Food Service experience preferred
• Ability to work Tue–Thu 3:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m., Fri 3:30 p.m.–10 p.m., and either Saturday or Sunday

Responsibilities

• Washes and cleans tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment.
• Keeps the dish-room and equipment clean and organized.
• Load, run and unload the dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any problems immediately.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation.
• Wears safety equipment as required and follows safety standards.
