Job summary

South Port Square in Port Charlotte, FL, is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to perform dishwashing, pot washing, and general cleaning in our kitchen.

Full-time shifts 7:00 AM–2:30 PM and 4:00 PM–8:00 PM; pay starts at $14.40/hour plus benefits. We value teamwork, confidentiality, and a warm, caring approach when interacting with residents, families, and staff. Background screening is required as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience setting up and operating dishwashing equipment.
• Team players with warm, friendly, caring manner on first impression.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Performs dish and pot washing, general cleaning duties and storing supplies.
• Sets up the dish and pot washing area.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment and work surfaces.
• Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils.
• Maintains safe and sanitary kitchen conditions.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions.
