Job summary

ZippyApp is seeking a diligent dishwasher/kitchen helper in Palestine, TX to maintain a clean, organized dish area and assist in food preparation as needed.

You will follow food safety guidelines, work quickly, and support the shift lead with daily duties. This role requires standing for long periods and handling/heavy objects when necessary.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean kitchen and wash/sort soiled dishes; prep foods as needed.
• Keep dish area free of clutter and organized.
• Set up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
• Maintain clean/dry floors throughout shift.
• Properly washes, stacks, and stores cookware, and storage containers.
• Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries.
• Maintain trash cans throughout shift and remove full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
• Maintain the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves.
• Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties.
• Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by Shift Lead as needed.
