Bennington College is seeking a full-time Utility and Dishroom Worker to join the Dining Services team in Vermont. The role focuses on cleanliness and sanitation of dishware, serviceware, and kitchen areas, supporting daily operations.

The position offers full-time, year-round hours with a $20.02 hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package. Schedule shown is 40 hours/week, Tuesday through Saturday, 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required; large-scale food production experience preferred.
• Annual Hazardous Communication Training and Food Sanitation (ServSafe) course required.
• Cleanliness and personal hygiene essential for kitchen operations.
• Exceptional customer service and ability to interact with internal customers.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions and perform basic math for inventory and measurements.

Aufgaben

• Ensure proper soap, wash water temperature, and sanitizer levels for dishwashing.
• Inspect dish machine setup and monitor temperatures and soap dispensers.
• Maintain cleanliness of dish machine, sinks, belts, vats, steamers, and kitchen equipment.
• Sweep, scrub, and mop assigned areas and manage waste disposal.
• Stock cleaning materials and assist with food product retrieval and storage as needed.
• Assist in setup and service of assigned functions and maintain positive interactions with staff and students.
