Full Time Director of Children’s Ministry

Full-time Director of Elementary-aged Children’s Ministry wanted for 1,000-member church in Lawrenceville, GA. This position will be responsible for leading and developing a comprehensive children’s ministry, ages K through 5 th grade. Key activities include: 1) build relationships with children and parents to facilitate growth in discipleship; 2) provide curriculum and coordinate volunteers for Sunday morning and other weekly programs; 3) co-direct annual Vacation Bible School; 4) provide coordination for special events throughout the year (ie, Christmas, Easter, and others); 5) Coordinate children’s music programming (note, musical background would be a plus but is not required; 6) Other ministry and administrative duties, including the Safe Sanctuaries program. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and prior experience leading children’s ministry.
