Job summary

AID of Indiana is seeking Full-Time Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes. You will provide care in assisted living residential settings across Indiana, including transporting clients to activities when needed.

All training and certification are provided and paid for by AID of Indiana. You must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts and alternating weekends, with a starting pay of $16.25 per hour and

Qualifications

• G.E.D. or High School Diploma.
• Drivers License.
• Social Security Card.
• Birth Certificate/Passport.
• County Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, hygiene tasks).
• Help with house cleaning and meal prep.
• Take clients to activities and community events.
• Promote self-advocacy and life skills coaching.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and support daily living tasks.
