Job summary

AID of Indiana is seeking Full Time Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes in Indiana. You will provide care, supervision, and advocacy in an assisted living setting, with rotating 12-hour shifts and opportunities for weekend bonuses.

Qualifications

• G.E.D. or High School Diploma.
• Drivers License.
• Social Security Card.
• Birth Certificate/Passport.
• County Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with house cleaning and meal preparation.
• Participate in community activities and outings.
• Teach life skills and promote self-advocacy.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing and dressing.
• Support individuals in transportation to activities or appointments.
