Job summary

Sevita’s REM Community Services in Grand Forks, ND is hiring a Full-Time Direct Support Professional at $18.25 per hour. You will help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live well, build relationships, and participate in community activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Take initiative to help participants achieve developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
