Job summary

RISE Ltd. in Oelwein, IA is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Supported Community Living team. You will work in individuals' homes and the community to implement IPPs, fostering independence and inclusion.

The role involves hands-on daily living support, financial coaching, transportation, and documentation, with paid training for agency certifications. Overtime is available and health safety are priorities.

Qualifications

• Must be literate in English with reading, writing, and basic math.
• Valid driver’s license with insurability under the vehicle policy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks with no felony convictions.
• Physical stamina for up to 75% of each shift.
• Digital literacy for electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living Support: assist with personal care, meals, chores, and pet care.
• Financial Empowerment: help manage budgets and pay bills per plans.
• Community Integration & Transportation: accompany to events and appointments.
• Goal & Plan Implementation: support IPP goals and advocate for independence.
• Health, Safety & Medication: administer meds and follow safety protocols.
• Documentation & Communication: complete digital records and communicate with families and providers.
