Sapphire Nursing at Meadow Hill in Orange Lake, NY, is seeking FULL TIME Dining Services Aides to join our culinary staff and provide timely service for residents of our long-term care facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or nursing facility setting preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation policies and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to set up trays and assist in serving.
• Dependability and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

• Handles food and equipment according to sanitation policies and procedures.
• Observes proper food handling techniques and sets up food for tray line/dining rooms.
• Delivers and retrieves food carts to and from client areas.
• Sets up trays for meals and works tray line position.
• Washes pots, pans and other equipment as necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation throughout work areas.
• Performs daily or scheduled cleaning duties per policies.
• Participates in in-services and activities as required.
