Sapphire Nursing at Meadow Hill is hiring a FULL TIME Dining Services Aide to join our culinary team. You will help deliver timely meals to residents of our long-term care facility, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualified candidates have dependability, good communication, and the ability to work independently. Previous nursing facility food service experience and a ServSafe certificate are preferred. This position offers benefits and a stable schedule.

Qualifications

• Dependability and punctuality in daily shift schedules.
• Ability to follow written and oral directions and to work independently.
• Effective communication with residents, families and staff.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsabilités

• Handles food and equipment according to sanitation policies and procedures.
• Observes proper food handling techniques. Ensures proper setup of food for tray line and/or dining rooms.
• Delivers and retrieves food carts to and from client2; areas.
• Sets up trays for meals/tray line positions.
• Processes soiled trays, dishes and utensils from carts through dishwasher.
• Assists in the serving of food.
• Prepares snacks and beverages between meals for patients.
• Prepares nutritional supplements and tube feeding products and delivers to patient areas.
• Washes pots, pans and other equipment as necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation across work areas.
• Performs daily or scheduled cleaning duties; scrubs and mops floors, cleans and sanitizes equipment.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Food Service Director and participates in in-services.
• Maintains confidentiality of all protected health information.

Sapphire Nursing at Meadow Hill is looking to hire FULL TIME Dining Services Aidesto join our culinary staffto provide timely service to meet our residents' needs.Our Dietary Aides perform a variety of food service functions in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents of our long term skilled nursing facility.We require our aides to provide the highest quality of service in an attentive and responsive atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights of our patients and their families. We arean innovative skilled nursing facility, specializes in caring for the elderly. Salary: $17.59/hr

Hours: 11:30am-8pm

Responsibilities:

• Performs daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures; Scrubs and mops floors, cleans and sanitizes equipment.

• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Food Service Director .Participates in all in-services and activities as required.

• Maintains the confidentiality of all protected health information whether electronic, written, or oral exposed to either during the course of assigned duties or as a result of an incidental disclosure.

• Participates in all in-service activities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a nursing care facility or other previous service experience preferred.

• ServSafe Food Handler Certificate preferred (not required)

• Knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to long-term care dietary requirements.

• Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.

• Ability to follow written and oral directions.

• Ability to work independently.

• Possess the ability to communicate effectively and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, and visitors.
