Qualifications

• Must have adequate reading abilities to read diet cards, special diet menus, and other food service procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service dining during scheduled meal periods, greeting residents and guests, taking orders, communicating with kitchen staff, delivering meals, and responding to dining needs in a timely manner.
• Set, clear, and clean dining room tables following established procedures and food safety standards to prevent cross-contamination.
• Prepare and stock condiments and accompaniments for daily specials, including dine-in and to-go service, prior to meal service.
• Perform dishwashing and general cleaning duties as assigned.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, infection control, and universal precaution policies at all times.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and pleasant dining environment for residents, guests, and staff.
