Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. is seeking a full-time kitchen support role in Mechanicsburg, PA. The position offers daytime to evening hours (11:30am-8:00pm) with every other weekend and holiday required, and an $18.00/hour rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency, required.
• Six (6) months prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in simple recipes for hot and cold food preparation.
• Batch cook items ensuring optimal food quality, e.g., scrambled eggs, french-fries, vegetables, fish, etc.
• Follows the counts designated on production sheets as written.
• Informs Chef when a recipe or food production sheet needs to be modified and informs Chef of potential shortages.
• Instructs attendants in regard to menu offerings and/or menu changes.
• Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control and quality assurance
