Job summary

Botkin Care and Rehab in Wellington, KS is hiring a full-time Dietary Aide to join our caring team. You will help prepare and serve meals to residents, set up trays, and ensure accurate meal delivery according to individual dietary orders.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic and follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn with no experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to interact with residents and team.
• Experience in geriatric settings is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents following dietary guidelines and menus.
• Set up trays, deliver meals, and assist with special requests.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation; monitor temperature.
• Deliver and retrieve trays and help with dishwashing duties as needed.
• Support a caring environment by providing friendly customer service to residents and families.
