We are looking for a full-time and part-time Dietary Aide with a flexible schedule and weekend availability. Pay rate starting at $16+/hr, DOE. Preference given to candidates with skilled nursing facility experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Following department procedures for dish, utensil, and equipment storage.
• Labeling and dating all food in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage.
• Ensuring proper food handling to prevent contamination, improve quality, and reduce costs.
• Suggesting menu or recipe modifications to utilize leftovers and supplies.
• Cleaning food service equipment, kitchen, and storage areas.
• Maintaining proper food temperatures during preparation and service, recording temperatures as per policy.
• Assisting with tray line setup, assembling trays according to menu, resident preferences, diet orders, and time schedules.
• Checking trays during service for accuracy.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 months related experience or training.
• Knowledge of special diets preferred.
