Job summary

Unity Health in Searcy, AR is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and ensure patient safety. The role requires completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT certification (or actively pursuing), and a willingness to work overtime/on-call as needed.

Candidates should have knowledge of radiographic exams, contrast agents, equipment operation, and proper patient transfers and positioning.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the curriculum of a recognized school of radiologic technology.
• Must have certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and maintain it while employed; if recent graduate, actively pursue the Registry.
• Prefer 1 year radiologic experience.
• Knowledge of radiographic examinations and procedures using contrast agents; equipment operations and radiation safety; patient transfers and positioning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform diagnostic radiographic cases for all patients.
• Open, accurate and responsive communication, oral or written, on an individual or group basis.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; demonstrate ethical and professional conduct.
• Flexibility to work overtime, on-call duty and disaster work as required by workload.
• Understand age-related developmental issues from pediatrics through geriatrics.
