Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Previous dermatology or specialty medical practice experience is a plus.
• Certificate of Completion from a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination and procedure rooms.
• Greet and assist patients throughout their visit.
• Obtain and document patient information.
• Pull, maintain, and verify patient charts and documentation.
• Update and maintain electronic medical records (EMR).
• Assist providers with medical and cosmetic dermatology procedures.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and team members.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Manage inventory and supplies.
• Follow infection-control standards and safety procedures.
