Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a Full-time Hygiene Assistant II to support the hygienists in the Triangle Area. You will play a key role in patient care, treatment planning, and procedures, while maintaining sterilization and charting duties to ensure smooth, efficient patient experiences.

The ideal candidate has CDA certification or radiology equivalency, CPR or plan to obtain, and familiarity with dental software; strong teamwork and patient communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Preferred Dental Hygiene Assistant experience.
• CDA certification or radiology exam through NC Board.
• CPR certification or will obtain within 30 days.
• Coronal polishing certification.
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft and/or Denticon is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists the hygienist in providing dental treatment.
• Functions as a treatment coordinator and presents treatment plans.
• Schedules patient appointments to accommodate obstacles.
• Maintains dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Collects and records patient health histories.
• Assists with patient management during dental procedures.
• Performs instrument cleaning, sterilization and room sanitization.
• Prepares dental materials and equipment for scheduled treatments.
• Completes dental charting.
• Manages inventory and other duties.
